Through meticulous analysis of Botticelli's Primavera [or ‘Spring’] my research uncovers previously unrecognized self-portraits concealed within the figures of Mercury and Flora. By comparing these figures with the established self-portrait in Portrait of a Man with the Medal of Cosimo il Vecchio de' Medici, I reveal striking technical and physiognomic parallels that challenge our understanding of Renaissance self-representation.
